Gender dysphoria stories provide important insights for governments, medical and health practitioners, regulators, and, very importantly, other people in our community that are at the beginning of their journey and have similar needs.

You can help with this important list!

I’m a detransitioner. Why should I tell you about me?

I’m a detransitioner. Can you add my name?

I’d like to add a detransitoner’s name

Why do you have many US detransitioners compared to other regions?

I’ve sent you an email. Why have you not updated the list already?

I’m a detransitioner. Why should I tell you about me ?

Detransitioners lives matter.

Detransitiners tell us that the transition/detransition journey has had a significant toll on their lives. Your voice matters.

Add your name, so that governments, medical and health care professionals understand what is happening with detransitioners, and provide better health policies, resources and funding.

Add your story so that young people today who are confused about their identity, dislike their body, question their sexual orientation and are being led by activists and dishonest psychologists towards medical body modification, see a different perspective.

After what you have experienced, don’t let this happen to another young person. Give them the opportunity to read a different perspective, so that the choice they make is well informed.

I’m a detransitioner. Can you add my name?

There are two ways for us to add your name.

Option 1: Send us a link to a public source identifying your story. This is the easiest way for us to verify you and to add your name. We do not disclose any other data on you, such as your email or surname.

Option 2: Use the contact us form and send us 6 things:

  1. Your First Name,

  2. Your Region (US/Canada; UK/Europe; Australia/NZ, Rest of World)

  3. Whether you are M2F2M or F2M2F,

  4. A short couple of lines on why you transitioned, and

  5. A photo; It can be from any time in your life.

  6. Your permission to publish the 5 things above on the List of Detransitioners

We will not share your email.

We need all 6 things for your voice to matter. Some people might ask - can they be anonymous? Yes, but not on the List of Detransitioners. Anonymous people’s voices are not heard in the same way. Many very brave detransitioners have spoken up because they want to make a difference and they want governments, media, medical and health practitioners and their communities to hear their voice

If you are shy, you might feel more comfortable wearing some sunglasses in the photo.

Thank you for your contribution. There are two ways to do this.

If they are featured in the media (newspaper, YouTube etc), send us a link. This story must have information on First Name, country, F2M2F or M2F2M.

If it is a detransitioner that you know but who is not in the media, please ask them to connect with us directly and this is what they can provide us with their story.

Why do you have many US detransitioners compared to other regions?

We have heavier coverage on English speaking countries. If you have detransitioner stories from non-English speaking countries, please do send us a message.

I’ve sent you an email. Why have you not updated the list already?

Thank you. It’s in the works! As volunteers, we are short on resources and therefore things, on occasion, take some time.
